As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs. You will be responsible for both direct patient care and overseeing the work of other caregivers, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.
- Perform assessments and data collection focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status
- Implement care plans and adhere to predetermined procedures and policies
- Identify patient learning needs and implement teaching plans
- Document patient information in electronic medical records
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities effectively
- Function as a Charge Nurse when required, coordinating patient assignments and staff coverage
- Maintain professional growth through continuous learning and development
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and organizational policies
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
- Current Washington State RN Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 12 months of hire
