Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Float Pool

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center | West Hollywood, CA

Assignment: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill ICU patients.

• Monitor and manage ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and Swan Ganz catheters.

• Administer IV medications, blood products, and vasoactive drips.

• Perform cardiac monitoring, interpret ECGs/ABGs, and respond to emergencies.

• Float to ICU, Stepdown, MS/Telemetry, PCU, and Overflow PACU as needed.

• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Active California RN License

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

• Experience in a 400+ bed acute care hospital

• Epic EMR experience

• PA Line (Swan Ganz) experience required

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met

Preferred

• CCRN certification

• Transplant, Cardiac, Neuro, or Trauma ICU experience

• CRRT and EVD experience

Note: Floating is required. Weekend coverage required. Flu vaccine mandatory.
