Summary of Responsibilities

Client is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to build and support automated testing frameworks and test solutions used to verify that applications function according to user requirements and meet established quality standards.

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will develop, maintain, and execute automated testing solutions with a strong emphasis on creating, managing, and improving automated tests across all levels of testing, including unit, functional, integration, user acceptance, and production deployment validation testing.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience building automated testing frameworks and creating test plans and test scripts from the customer's perspective to ensure automation delivers intended results and satisfies business requirements.

This role requires building automation solutions focused on reusability, scalability, sustainability, and open standards while maximizing the value of automation investments.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong software testing experience and a growing focus on AI-driven quality practices. This role combines traditional QA disciplines with modern AI/ML testing strategies, including validating AI models, automating test flows with AI-assisted tooling, and improving product quality through intelligent test frameworks.

The candidate should have demonstrated experience executing and managing automated testing within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards, processes, and procedures.
• Use AI-driven tools to improve test coverage, defect detection, and regression reliability.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scripts, test cases, and requirement traceability documentation.
• Manage test case repositories and ensure test assets remain current.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality goals.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Jenkins.
• Maintain automated regression test suites and continuously improve test automation capabilities.
• Plan and manage test environments required for successful validation activities.
• Analyze automated test assets and recommend improvements to testing frameworks, tools, databases, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot automated test failures and provide solutions for efficient test execution.
• Develop reporting solutions for automated test results across QA, business, and technical teams.
• Identify, document, and track defects while performing root cause analysis and collaborating with development teams on resolutions.
• Partner with QA engineers, developers, architects, and stakeholders to establish quality standards and best practices.
• Perform system verification and validation testing using various testing tools and technologies.
• Ensure applications, products, and releases meet established quality standards.

Experience

Experience integrating automated testing processes, solving complex quality assurance challenges, and designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

• Web service test automation using SoapUI.
• Cloud and containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including containerized test frameworks and Selenium Grid-based testing.
• Performance and load testing experience using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or K6, including performance scripting, throughput analysis, latency analysis, error monitoring, and recommendations.
• API testing and automation experience using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured, including REST and GraphQL testing, OAuth2/JWT authorization, contract testing, Swagger, Pact, and API pipeline integration.
• CI/CD integration experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, including pipeline workflows, test reporting, and artifact management.
• Understanding of Agile software development, continuous integration, and automated testing practices.
• Experience testing batch processing, flat-file interfaces, and web service integrations.
• Experience developing automated regression testing strategies and implementing test automation solutions.
