Pro Care by Abound Health is seeking an experienced and results-driven IDD Intake & Onboarding Program Supervisor to lead our centralized intake and onboarding team in Southfield, MI. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will shape the experience that individuals, families, referral partners, and caregivers have from their first interaction with Pro Care through the start of services. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full referral journey from initial inquiry through admission, caregiver onboarding, and handoff to operations.
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of intake and onboarding professionals.
Create a responsive, supportive experience for individuals, families, caregivers, and referral partners.
Partner with Recruiting, Training, Operations, Compliance, Payroll, Billing, and other teams to accelerate service starts.
Use performance data to monitor referral response times, onboarding progress, conversion rates, backlogs, and staffing readiness.
Identify barriers, improve workflows, and develop scalable processes that support continued growth.
Ensure documentation and onboarding activities meet Medicaid, payer, HIPAA, accreditation, and Pro Care requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human services, healthcare administration, business, social work, or a related field preferred.
Five years of experience in IDD, healthcare, human services, intake, onboarding, or program operations preferred.
Previous supervisory or management experience required.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience using data and performance metrics to manage workflows and improve results.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass all required background and registry checks.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment.
