SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, though communication and information sharing between groups may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of injection‑molding processes and materials, along with a solid understanding of production and basic quality‑control methods and visual inspection. They should be able to apply fundamental problem‑solving and root‑cause‑analysis skills to support production needs. Effective communication and organizational abilities are essential, and mechanical aptitude preferred. The candidate should also demonstrate strong attendance and work ethic, as well as familiarity with the Toyota Production System and Lean manufacturing concepts.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, and technical documents. Clear written and verbal communication required.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic math including ratios, percentages, and measurements.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve routine production problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, equipment or controls. The employee is required to stand or be on their feet approximately 8 hours per day including walking, climbing stairs, or occasionally climbing in or on an injection machine, required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear and smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is an injection‑molding manufacturing facility utilizing Industrial Robotics involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, moderate noise levels, and varying temperatures, including periods of significant heat and humidity near production equipment. Employees may occasionally work in high or precarious locations, and encounter wet or humid conditions. The facility includes dynamic workflows where both human operators and AMRs move throughout designated pathways, requiring employees to remain consistently aware of robotic traffic and operate safely alongside automated systems. These conditions are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of the job, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURS
This is a full-time position with hours mirroring production Monday through Friday with overtime throughout the week and weekend as needed. 1st Shift 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
