Howmet is currently looking for a Heat Treat Technician to join our Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) group in Hampton, Virginia. The shift hours for 3rd shift are M-F 10pm-6am (starts Sunday night). Training is 1st shift, M-F 6am-2pm.
New Hire Starting Rate: $22.24 p/hr.; After 6 months: $24.71 p/hr.
This position will receive an hourly “shift premium” of $1.00 p/hr. while assigned to an off shift.
Job Summary: The Heat Treat Technician will operate vacuum heat-treating furnaces to manufacture castings of high quality.
Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities:
Performs and submits completed uniformity survey in temperature measurement for all Heat Treat furnaces

Availability for all shifts(including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekend shift) is necessary. The ability to work overtime and weekends is required as schedules may vary based on operational needs; flexibility is essential.
