Reports To: IHD Solids Manager

Hours: Full Time

 

DUTIES

  • Hauling municipal/oilfield waste (Trash) to various landfills throughout the Northwest of North Dakota.
  • Loading and unloading a Rolloff pup trailer numerous times a day.
  • Operating machinery – skid steer, wheel loader.
  • Occasionally sorting through loads of trash for unpermitted items that certain landfills will not except. (Tires, Vac Hoses, Chemical Totes, Pigs, Filter Socks, Metal, Batteries)
  • Steady routine schedule.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Class A CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • Pre- and post-trips required
  • Write ups for mechanics
  • Mechanical ability a plus

 

Standard Requirements

  • Valid US issued driver's license with a good driving record
  • Availability to work long hours, some weekends as required
  • Ability to work safely in all types of weather

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
