Position Purpose: The manager is to assist in the overall operation of the department to provide an optimum and cost-effective operation of all equipment, buildings, grounds, and other hospital property. The manager will also assist with maintaining document review/compliance manuals, scheduling, and overseeing system testing and inspections, and will assist with the Emergency Management program to include the planning, preparation, and conducting of Emergency disaster drills and other related tasks.
Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. An Associates Degree in a related field is preferred. Formal training in Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness is preferred (ICS or Incident Command System training, FEMA).
Experience: At least one year of experience in commercial or industrial maintenance is preferred. Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience in electrical or related fields. Must be able to function effectively under stress and in Emergency situations and be able to assist in security situations when on duty. Highly encouraged to have experience in Emergency Management planning activities.
Licenses/Certificates: EPA Universal certification is preferred.
Compensation: Hourly Range: $32.00 - $48.00 Bonus: Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
Incentives: Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
