As a Clinic RN, you will serve as an essential member of the care team, supporting physicians and ensuring patients receive high-quality care throughout their visit.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and other preliminary patient information
Assist providers during examinations and treatments
Perform routine office testing and clinical procedures as ordered
Prepare and administer medications, including injectable and aerosol treatments
Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care
Accurately document patient information, treatments, and clinical activities
Process prescription refill requests and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
Manage incoming communications, including mail, patient messages, and provider requests
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care and positive outcomes
Develop meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families
Work closely with experienced providers in a collaborative clinic environment
Enjoy a consistent schedule that supports work-life balance
Utilize a variety of clinical and patient education skills
Make a direct impact on preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall patient wellness
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
One year of experience in a physician office, clinic, or medically related environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team
Excellent patient service and customer care skills
Hourly Range: $26.04 - $36.45
Potential eligibility for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of established metrics. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process.
