Position Purpose: The Sleep Center Technician is responsible for the set-up, administration, and post procedure functions in all manner of sleep diagnostic procedures including patient and family education. The Sleep Center Technician reports to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services/Sleep Center.
Education: Registered Polysomnographer (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technician (RST), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
Licenses/Certificates: Must possess one of the following credentials: • American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) • Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) • Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) • Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) • Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Must possess current card from the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers upon hire.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in all aspects of polysomnography preferred.
Compensation: Hourly Range - $25.09-$37.64
Incentives: Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Bonus: Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
