Requirements
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field and possess an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement or be eligible to obtain appropriate state licensure. Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong collaboration, effective communication, and a commitment to helping elementary students succeed in an inclusive educational environment.
