RESPONSIBILITIES: The main purpose of this position is to work with the Rural Transit Assistance Center''s (RTAC) program director and other transit specialists to fulfill the center''s goals to provide high quality technical assistance and training to rural transit operators receiving Section 5310 and Section 5311 funding; and to promote public and specialized transportation in rural areas, achieved via the completion of the RTAC''s annual overall Work Plan.
