Imaging Services Assistant

Location: Georgetown, TX 

Facility: Georgetown Medical Building 

Department/Specialty: Imaging 

Schedule: Rotating | Full-time | Monday - Saturday, 7:30am - 5:30pm (4-10 hour shifts / week) 

Join our dynamic healthcare team and play a vital role in patient care! We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant to keep our imaging department running smoothly and ensure our patients have a safe, comfortable experience.

• Champion Patient Care & Comfort: Guide patients through their imaging journey by explaining procedures, providing educational materials, and safely transporting them to and from clinical areas with verified identification.
• Tech-Hand Dynamic: Directly assist Radiologic Technologists with expert patient positioning, room preparation, and clinical tasks like starting IVs to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Safety First: Strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols, actively protecting patients from unnecessary exposure while maintaining a secure clinical environment.
• Workflow Wizard: Keep the department moving efficiently by managing patient charts, filing and delivering reports to physicians, and matching films to folders.
• Department Logistics: Own the post-procedure cleanup, manage patient discharge, and stay on top of inventory control and supply restocking so the team never misses a beat.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Experience with starting patient IVs 
• Previous Clinic environment experience
