Plans and directs the operations for all Imaging Facilities for Anderson Healthcare. Evaluates and recommends equipment needs, purchases and contracts. Develops, interprets and applies departmental policies and procedures. Interviews and approves applicants, as applicable. Makes recommendations as to the sufficient number of qualified and competent staff to provide care.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the operations and maintain continuity of all Imaging Facilities within Anderson Healthcare.
Continuously evaluates important processes within scope of responsibilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintains compliance with all governing agencies' standards.
Shows understanding and support of how processes and departments fit together in the overall system of operations instead of displaying a "silo" mentality.
Evaluates and recommends equipment needs, purchases and contracts maintaining continuity across Anderson Healthcare system.
Provides input to budgeting and executive decision making by accurately assessing, analyzing, forecasting, and quantifying departmental and hospital needs.
Establish positive relationships in order to negotiate with others to create a workable solution or optimize best contractual relationships internally and externally for Anderson Healthcare.
Communicates with employees on an appropriate range of workplace matters (e.g. upcoming changes, instructions, committee updates, performance improvement activities, work expectations, etc.)
Acts as a Liaison between Radiologists, Administration and Department Leadership.
Effectively communicates with Leadership updates and needs within Imaging for all Anderson Healthcare entities.
Evaluates employees' performance and delivers related feedback in a timely manner.
Disciplines employees in a fair manner, consistent with hospital policy.
Sets a good example of proper workplace conduct and work ethic for employees.
Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: High School diploma or equivalent; B.S. degree in associated area, preferred or Minimum of five (5) years experience required
Certification/Licensure: Radiologic Technology training in AMA approved school; ARRT registered; IEMA state licensed
Experience Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years
