Work Schedule:

• Daylight and evening hours available - we will work with your school schedule!
• One weekend (Saturday and Sunday hours is required every 4th week.
• Weekday hours and short shifts also available!
• No on-call hours, holidays, or travel required!

The Diagnostic Radiology department is a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where Student Techs can gain valuable, hands-on trauma experience! This position is designed for Imaging students to expand their skills and ready them for the workforce - join us today!

Responsibilities:

• Complete procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist or Technologist.
• Assist with positioning and performing exams.
• May utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data.
• May perform daily equipment inspections, warm up procedures, and follow Quality Control Program under supervision of a Technologist.
• Assist Radiologist and Technologist setting up contrast.
• However, will never be responsible for loading or priming the injector.
• Follow radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Arrive patients, track exams, scan scripts, and schedule exams in the Radiology Information Systems.
• Must be an active 2nd-year student in ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, or NMCTB approved school.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Basic Life Support (BLS OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
