Responsibilities


Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician I to join our growing team. As a member of our Radiology Diagnostic department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of imaging procedures.


+ Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to:

+ X-ray

+ Fluoroscopy


+ Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.

+ Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality control standards.

+ Analyze images for technical quality and identify any potential issues.

+ Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

+ Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

+ Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and infection control protocols.

+ Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Qualifications


+ A minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital/acute care setting or satisfactory completion of a full rotation at Northridge Hospital Radiology department within the last year required.

+ Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school is required.

+ License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (State) and Fluoroscopy certification is required.

+ AHA BLS certification required.

+ LA City Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.


This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
