Join Logan Health as an X-ray & CT Technologist, where you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support exceptional patient care. In this position, you'll perform diagnostic X-ray and computed tomography (CT) procedures using advanced imaging technology while working collaboratively with physicians and a dedicated healthcare team. What You'll Do:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations, including assisting physicians with specialty imaging procedures.

  • Conduct daily equipment safety inspections, warm-up procedures, preventive maintenance checks, and quality control testing to ensure optimal equipment performance.

  • Explain imaging procedures to patients, review medical history, allergies, and other safety considerations, and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging experience.

  • Position patients accurately and utilize appropriate imaging protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, normal anatomy and physiology, CT scan acquisition, and image evaluation.

  • Monitor patients throughout examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort while communicating any changes in condition to the care team.

  • Review images for diagnostic quality and accurately document procedures in the electronic health record.

  • Maintain imaging equipment, report malfunctions promptly, and support a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.

  • Schedule patients, maintain examination records, complete charges, and assist with departmental clerical responsibilities as needed.

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

  • Uphold all hospital, departmental, regulatory, and compliance standards while consistently delivering an outstanding patient experience.

What You'll Bring:

  • Current Montana Radiologic Technologist License (required).

  • ARRT Registration in Radiography (R) (required).

  • ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT), or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe.

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire.

  • Working knowledge of radiographic positioning, CT imaging protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, anatomy and physiology, and radiation safety principles.

  • Ability to perform equipment quality assurance testing, preventive maintenance checks, and identify equipment issues requiring service.

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Experience using electronic health records and PACS systems.

  • Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software and technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience performing both diagnostic radiography and CT in an acute care or hospital setting.

  • Experience with Meditech and/or Cerner (Oracle) electronic health record systems.

  • Experience assisting with specialty imaging procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and patient care.

  • Commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and providing exceptional service to patients and families.
