IMC (Instructional Media Center) Aide

The School District of Fort Atkinson is accepting applications for an IMC (Instructional Media Center) Aide at Fort Atkinson Middle School.

Duties Include:

Assists students and teachers in the use of library facilities and services in the selection of library materials

• Performs circulation duties including checking books in and out, sorting and shelving books, and keeping records.
• Processes new books and materials, keeps track of where books are located and maintains the computer database.
• Maintains shelf list and card catalog.
• Contacts students about overdue or damaged books and collects fines.
• Performs yearly inventory.
• Sets up bulletin boards and displays.
• Types and prepares routine reports.
• Maintains discipline in the library.
• Other duties as assigned by the IMC Director or the Building Principal.
