Job Details

We are seeking a full time IMC Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs.

Job Description:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
• Provide routine and complex nursing care in an IMC and medical surgical setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, treatment effectiveness, and potential side effects
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, treatments, and care provided
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, and available resources
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical team
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate responsibilities to other care providers
• Complete required orientation, onboarding, MedSurg competency validation, and annual competency requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least one year of related nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required at the time of hire
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire for experienced nurses or within 90 days for new graduates and nurses new to the specialty
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient care skills

• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
