What Will You Do as a Caregiver?

As a Visiting Angels Blue Bell Caregiver, you’ll provide compassionate, non-medical home care that helps seniors remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Preparing meals and assisting with daily routines
• Providing medication reminders
• Helping with light housekeeping and laundry
• Assisting with grocery shopping and errands
• Providing mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Assisting with transportation when applicable
• Observing client well-being and reporting changes
• Encouraging independence and maintaining dignity
• Building trusting relationships with clients and their families

  Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or in-home caregiver preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
