Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Location: Grandville, Michigan – This is a full-time, on-site opportunity where you'll work closely with an experienced legal team while serving clients throughout West Michigan.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Michigan. Immigration law experience is welcomed but not required for candidates with strong legal writing, advocacy, and litigation skills.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in immigration removal proceedings and related court matters.
  • Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, motions, and legal briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
  • Meet directly with clients to provide legal guidance and case updates.
  • Draft correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Assemble supporting evidence for immigration filings.
  • Travel to courts and hearings as needed.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to provide exceptional client service.
  • Manage an active caseload while maintaining high-quality legal work.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Active Michigan Bar license required.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Immigration law experience is a plus but not required.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Apple products is preferred.
