Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Immigration Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Providing expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of immigration law, including removal defense, re-entry cases, immigration status, and residency.
2. Conducting thorough legal research to stay updated on changes in immigration law and procedures.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and filing all types of immigration applications and petitions.
4. Representing clients in immigration court proceedings, including removal defense cases.
5. Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, appeals, and motions.
6. Negotiating with opposing parties, government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
7. Ensuring full legal compliance in all activities and operations.
8. Managing a high volume of cases from inception through closure.
9. Providing counsel and guidance to clients throughout the immigration process.
10. Analyzing legal issues and providing strategic solutions.
11. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Immigration Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law in the state.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Immigration Attorney.
4. Extensive experience with removal defense, re-entry cases, immigration status, and residency.
5. Proficient in legal research and writing, with the ability to draft complex legal documents.
6. Excellent negotiation and litigation skills.
7. Strong understanding of legal compliance and procedures.
8. Proven track record in case management and client counseling.
9. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
10. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide effective legal solutions.
13. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in an understandable manner.
14. Proficiency in using legal software for case management and legal research.
15. Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and consultation to our clients.
