Immigration Attorney – Full-Time
Location: Port Washington, Long Island, NY

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience
About the Position
Our law office in Port Washington, Long Island is seeking a motivated and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our growing team.
We are open to considering both entry-level attorneys and attorneys with prior immigration law experience. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality legal representation to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of U.S. immigration matters, including employment-based and family-based immigration cases.
- Prepare and manage EB-1, EB-2, and O-1 visa and immigration applications, including petitions and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and handle I-612 hardship waiver applications, as applicable.
- Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, motions, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding their cases, legal options, and case strategy.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on changes in immigration law, USCIS policies, and procedures.
- Prepare clients for USCIS interviews, immigration proceedings, and other case-related matters.
- Develop case strategies and work closely with clients to gather the necessary evidence and documentation.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure all filings and deadlines are handled timely and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and office staff.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing.
- Immigration law experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with EB-1, EB-2, O-1, and/or hardship waiver cases is a strong plus.
- Newly admitted attorneys with a strong interest in immigration law are encouraged to apply.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Schedule
This is a full-time, in-office position. The attorney is expected to be present at our Port Washington office during regular business hours.
