    Your day.

    As an Immunization Operations Manager, you need to know how to:
     

    • Serve as the lead expert on all immunization protocols and operational procedures
    • Maintain company compliance with FDA, ACIP, and CDC immunization guidelines
    • Manage PHMG compliance with the Idaho Immunization Project (IIP) Vaccines for Children (VFC) enrollment policies and guidelines
    • Assist in all clinic annual IIP and Health Department audits
    • Manage annual Influenza, COVID-19, and RSV planning, to include researching and proposing the current year's Influenza and COVID-19 vaccine products
    • Manage the coordination and compliance of off-site traveling and in-clinic flu vaccine clinics
    • Manage vaccine contracts and complete cost evaluation analysis for all immunizations
    • Respond to all staff inquiries as necessary to ensure overall compliance and high-quality delivery of services
    • Evaluate and manage the implementation and maintenance of all immunization-related projects
    • Direct the development of identifying and evaluating any vaccine barriers
    • Assess, identify, plan, develop, and evaluate activities to improve immunization rates within all clinics
    • Be the expert for the temperature monitoring system PharmaWatch, including assigning all new employees access
    • Monitor all clinic current refrigerator and freezer temperature incidents
    • Monitor new hire employee immunizations and ensure staff are up-to-date with current company policies
    • Educate staff in delivery and accountability for best immunization practices
    • Complete annual immunization clinic audits to ensure all clinics are in compliance with current guidelines and ensure follow-up of all audits and compliance with recommendations
    • Act as the supervisor to the Regional Immunization Coordinator
    • Collaborate with all departments to align goals, share data, and support daily operations
    • Provide support to the Nursing Leadership Department, Director of Nursing, and Clinic Operations Manager
    • Embody and demonstrate behaviors consistent with PHMG's established Customer Service Standards
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    Your experience.

    We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
     

    • MAs must have an active certification or licensure from a nationally accredited program.  LPNs and RNs must have a current license from the Idaho Board of Nursing, with no sanctions.
    • Experience and knowledge of FDA, ACIP, and CDC-recommended immunizations
    • Familiarity with Idaho Immunization Program Protocols, VFC, and IRIS
    • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a medical clinic setting
    • Previous management experience is preferred
    • Experience with electronic health records is required, and eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to multitask and maintain a professional manner under busy and stressful circumstances
    • Proficiency in computer software applications to include EHR, IRIS, Excel, IHDE, Microsoft Word, Empower, Crystal Reports, and PharmaWatch
    • Knowledge and adherence to Universal Precautions and Safety Measures at all times
    • Recommended vaccines to include annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, MMR, Varicella, and TB skin test
