Contract Pharmacist – Per Diem Immunization & Staff Pharmacist

Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a reliable and experienced Pharmacist for a temporary contract assignment supporting pharmacy operations across Washington State. This position will include a combination of regular pharmacist responsibilities and per diem immunization coverage, with the pharmacist rotating between assignments based on operational needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a flexible contract assignment with the potential to work in multiple locations throughout Washington.
Assignment Details
- Contract: September 6, 2026 – November 14, 2026
- Role: Pharmacist / Immunization Pharmacist
- Schedule: Flexible, based on pharmacy needs
- Travel: Travel between Western and Eastern Washington may be required
- Travel Accommodations: Pre-approved travel expenses and accommodations are provided
Responsibilities
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will:
- Provide patient-focused retail pharmacy services
- Review, verify, process, and dispense prescriptions
- Oversee pharmacy operations and maintain safety and compliance standards
- Support inventory management and daily pharmacy operations
- Deliver high-quality patient care services
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals
As part of the immunization coverage, you may also:
- Administer vaccinations in accordance with Washington State laws and regulations
- Provide patient education related to immunizations
- Support pharmacy teams during periods of increased immunization demand
Position Requirements
- Active Washington State Pharmacist license in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Current Pharmacist Immunization Certificate in Washington State
- Current BLS Certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to travel between Western and Eastern Washington as needed
