Oberlin's Impact Investment fellows are student representatives on the college's Impact Investment Advisory Group (IIAG). Composed of students, faculty, and administrators, the IIAG was created in 2022 to serve an advisory role to the college's Investment Committee. Since then, the group has conducted research projects in impact investment related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. The Impact Investment fellows will conduct research related to impact investment trends in the endowment management space, connect the trends with Oberlin's strategies and policies, and make novel recommendations to the Board of Trustees' Investment Committee. The fellows will also support the IIAG's efforts to bridge the communication barrier between the impact initiatives of the endowment and stakeholder engagement.
