We are seeking a Temporary Implementation Engineer to support the configuration, testing, and deployment of biometric identification systems used by law enforcement agencies nationwide.
This hands-on technical role is responsible for preparing, validating, and troubleshooting hardware and software to ensure systems are fully operational prior to deployment. This is a temporary, project-based position with the potential for extension or permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize hardware and software systems
- Install and update device and camera drivers
- Test and validate systems prior to shipment
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Maintain deployment documentation and tracking tools
- Collaborate with technical and implementation teams
- Assist with packaging, shipping, and deployment preparation
Qualifications
- IT experience, education, or technical certifications
- Experience configuring hardware and software
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eligible to obtain CJIS clearance and pass a background check
- Valid driver's license and professional references required
