About the Role:
Alexandria International Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Import Analyst to join our team in Adairsville, GA! In this role, you'll play a key part in managing and optimizing our international import operations, ensuring smooth and compliant movement of goods across borders. Responsibilities:

• Analyze and process import documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs entries
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and trade laws
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to facilitate timely shipment clearance
• Monitor and track inbound international shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies
• Classify goods using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes and manage duty assessments
• Maintain accurate import records and prepare reports on shipment status and compliance metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams including purchasing, logistics, and finance to support supply chain operations

Requirements:

• Experience with customs entry filing and working with licensed customs brokers is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with trade management software is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
