Import/Export Analyst - A

Summary:

• Location: Minnetonka, MN
• Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment processes.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Import & Export Regulations.
• Create Proforma Invoices and classify commodities according to HTS and/or Schedule B.
• Maintain updated FDA and other agency data, NAFTA Certificates of Origin.
• File Shippers Export Declarations and maintain shipment logs and filing systems.
• Track and follow up on shipments, provide logistics coordination and assistance.
• Conduct compliance audits and audit customs brokerage invoices.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Knowledge of import/export logistics and international freight forwarding.
• Experience with HTS Classification.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in regulatory, EHS, and handling dangerous goods.
• Experience in high-volume environments like restaurants.
• Medical device industry experience.
• Analytical skills for dealing with data.
• Document management skills.
• Experience with SAP and Winchell.
• Quality Systems experience.
• Ability to read US Regulations and make determinations.
• Experience working with engineers and different product groups on technical specifications.
