Are you seeking a caregiving position that prioritizes authentic relationships over conventional work? This opportunity allows you to spend enriching weekday mornings—twice weekly—with a compassionate and friendly team on Madison’s east side. Additionally, a delightful dog will be present to create a welcoming atmosphere for animal enthusiasts.

This position extends beyond providing physical support; you will be valued as a unique individual. We are seeking a caregiver for Tuesdays and Thursdays, totaling six hours each week. This opportunity is founded on trust, meaningful connections, and the small moments that bring immense joy.

Position Overview:
  • Pay:  $21.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:45 AM – 11:45 AM (Total of 6 hours/week).
  • Employment Type: Direct hire through the individual’s long-term care program, fully compliant with Wisconsin wage and labor laws. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
  • Training:Comprehensive, remunerated training on all medical equipment and procedures will be provided. No prior experience is required; only a desire to learn is necessary.

Responsibilities Include:
  • G-tube Feeding: Administer gentle gravity feeds, ensuring the individual’s comfort at all times.
  • Seizure Awareness: Remain vigilant and contribute to maintaining a safe and tranquil environment.
  • Mobility Assistance: Utilize a gait belt for secure transfers and movement support.
  • Personal Care: Provide compassionate and respectful assistance as needed.
  • Companionship & Outings: Engage in meaningful conversations at home and, when weather permits, participate in visits to parks or coffee shops.
