About the Role:
Assisting Hands of Sun City is looking for a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized 1-on-1 care to clients in the Sun City, AZ area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by supporting their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own home. Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1-on-1 personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
- Support safe mobility and transfers to prevent falls
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and a dependable, trustworthy demeanor
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
