About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to join their team in San Diego, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Document and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with transfers
