About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to join their team in San Diego, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Provide safe transportation and accompaniment to appointments and errands
- Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
