In-home- Caregiver

Job Summary:Village Caregiving, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an In-home Caregiver. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical job located in the city of Scottsville. As an In-home Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.Compensation & Benefits:At Village Caregiving, we value our employees and offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. Benefits include paid time off, sick leave, and ongoing training and development opportunities.Responsibilities:- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders- Create a safe and comfortable environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and errand running- Assist with mobility and transferring as needed- Engage in conversation and activities to promote social interaction and stimulation- Document and report any changes in client's health or behavior- Maintain open communication with clients and their families to ensure their needs are being met- Attend training and meetings as requiredRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field is preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Must pass a background check and drug test- Must be willing to provide personal care, including bathing and toileting assistance- Must have the physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of timeEEOC Statement:Village Caregiving is an equal opportunity employer.
