This role is primarily responsible for bench testing, diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing commercial and residential espresso, coffee, and beverage equipment.In addition, this position supports field technicians with technical guidance, parts identification, and inventory management, and serves as a backup field service technician when needed, including occasional travel for cruise ship service calls or special projects.The ideal candidate is reliable, technically strong, organized, and communicates effectively, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and support a fast‑paced service operation.Key ResponsibilitiesBench test, diagnose, repair, and refurbish commercial and residential espresso, coffee, and beverage equipmentTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic issues to manufacturer and company standardsProvide technical support and parts identification assistance to field techniciansMaintain accurate parts inventory levels and perform daily reordering as neededReceive, inspect, label, and organize incoming parts and equipmentDocument all repairs, testing results, and parts usage in service systemsPrepare refurbished equipment for redeployment or resaleAct as a backup field service technician when requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environmentRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience repairing espresso equipment3+ years of experience repairing coffee equipment3+ years of experience repairing other beverage equipment (brewers, grinders, tea systems, etc.)Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issuesStrong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aptitudeAbility to read wiring diagrams, schematics, parts breakdowns, and technical manualsProficiency with hand tools, diagnostic tools, and multimetersStrong computer skills , including service software, documentation, inventory systems, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaborate with a technical teamHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPhysically capable of lifting 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionallyPreferred QualificationsPrior field service technician experienceBarista or coffee industry experienceBilingual (English/Spanish) candidates encouraged to applyKnowledge of safety requirements and proper equipment handlingWhat We OfferFull‑time employment with competitive compensationPaid Time Off, overtime, commissions, and paid trainingMedical, dental, and vision insuranceFactory training and ongoing professional developmentSupportive team culture with opportunities for career growthCompany discounts on coffee, equipment, and accessoriesNoteThis job description is not all-inclusive.
