About the Team: Our Outside Sales team is the face of a leading local commerce and food delivery platform for restaurant partners. We operate in local markets building strong relationships with independent and regional restaurants that matter most to diners. About the Role: We are hiring In-Person In-Field Sales Development Representatives who spend their days in the field visiting restaurants face to face and booking qualified meetings for Outside Account Executives. You will often be the first human touchpoint many merchants have with our platform. Your mission is simple but challenging: arrive prepared, build rapport quickly, educate restaurant owners on the value of partnering with our platform, and secure a follow-up meeting.
Responsibilities:
• Visit a high volume of restaurant prospects weekly within your assigned territory • Introduce the platform and secure qualified meetings for the Outside Sales team • Identify owners or key decision-makers and build trust through short in-person conversations • Clearly explain how the platform helps restaurants grow orders, reach new customers, and streamline operations • Log all visits, conversations, and outcomes accurately in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) • Collaborate closely with Outside Account Executives on target accounts and follow-up strategies • Plan and manage daily routes to maximize productivity and meeting volume • Follow up with merchants via phone, text, and email to confirm meetings and maintain engagement • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets related to meetings booked and revenue impact • Act as the local voice of the market, sharing merchant feedback to improve sales messaging and offerings
Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in outbound sales, canvassing, field marketing, or customer-facing roles focused on new business • Experience may come from sales, hospitality, retail, service, or similar industries • Comfortable conducting high-volume, short in-person conversations daily • Ability to quickly learn and confidently communicate a value proposition • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce Outreach or similar) is a plus • Restaurant food & beverage or local business experience is a plus • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within territory • Willingness to work restaurant-friendly hours, including some early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods • Ability to drive frequently within the assigned territory
