Your role:

The In-process Laboratory Technician will support operations with their daily operation of the chemical plants in Bushy Park. The technician will supply laboratory support analyzing samples in a wide variety of methods which come from the plants (the lab technician will also be required to pull these samples from the plant themselves). The results of these analyses provide crucial information and feedback to the Operating Technicians who are tasked with controlling the processes to produce product which meets our quality standards and adheres to all the regulatory requirements.

About you:

• High school diploma or equivalent is minimum education requirements.
• Associates degree or higher educational experience in chemistry and/or lab technician is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an analytical or quality control laboratory is preferred.
• Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to visually assess and distinguish plant materials.
• Basic math, computer and mechanical skills are necessary.
• Ability to correctly interpret and communicate analytical results relative to process requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude required for instrument/ lab equipment general maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Office and SAP computer skills.
