Step into a shift where every decision you make keeps production running right. As an In-Process Quality Assurance Inspector with Regal Staffing (supporting operations in the Wilmer, TX area), your day revolves around verifying that what leaves the line meets exacting standards — every time.

A day in this role

When the line starts, you’re ready. You move between stations, compare results to technical specs, and keep a close eye on trends. You pull in-process samples, prepare them for testing, and run tensile and chemical analyses according to the sampling plan. With micrometers, calipers, and gauges in hand, you record precise measurements, spot nonconformances fast, and make sure anything out of spec is identified, isolated, and labeled before it goes further. You keep inspection tools and lab equipment calibrated, document your findings in the quality database, and support safety at every step — all in alignment with T1 Energy’s Quality Management System (QMS).

What you’ll handle

• In-process inspections and audits to confirm compliance with T1 Energy’s QMS and technical specifications
• Laboratory testing on in-process samples (e.g., tensile strength, chemical tests) per the sampling plan
• Identification, segregation, and labeling of non-conforming materials and product
• Reading and interpreting technical documents, specifications, and blueprints
• Operation and upkeep of precision tools: calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Sample preparation and processing for lab testing
• Calibration and routine maintenance of lab and inspection equipment
• Accurate data capture and entry into the quality management database/system
• Strict adherence to safety procedures and participation in a safe work environment
• Assistance with additional quality tasks and special projects as needed

Pay and schedule

• Pay: $22 per hour
• Night Shift Differential: +10%
• Shift options: Day (6 am–6 pm) or Night (6 pm–6 am)
• Rotation: 12-hour shifts alternating 4-on/3-off and 3-on/4-off

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• QA/QC experience in manufacturing (preferred)
• Knowledge of basic lab and inspection practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to read/interpret technical specs and blueprints
• Hands-on skill with calipers and micrometers
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Comfort with unit conversions and technical measurements
• Endurance to stand for long periods during 12-hour shifts
• Visual acuity for color, fine detail, depth, periphery, and focus adjustments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including some weekends
