As a Inbound & Inventory Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting warehouse improvement initiatives. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and efficiency. You will help ensure that inventory is accurately tracked, properly stored, and that warehouse processes are optimized to support smooth operations.
Inbound Duties
· Receive and unload incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse
equipment.
· Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
· Inspect products for damage, defects, or quantity discrepancies.
· Label, sort, and stage incoming materials for storage.
· Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
· Transport items to designated storage locations following FIFO/FEFO processes.
Inbound Scheduling
· Manage inbound scheduling calendars, dock assignments, and receiving priorities.
· Communicate expected delivery times to warehouse teams to ensure adequate staffing.
· Document arrival times, delays, and carrier performance as needed.
· Ensure all scheduled deliveries comply with warehouse procedures and safety
requirements.
Customer Returns (NC’s)
· Receive and inspect returned products for damage, discrepancies, or restock eligibility.
· Document return details in the WMS and process according to company return policies.
· Sort items for restocking, repair, quarantine, or disposal.
· Communicate recurring return issues to supervisors, customer service, or quality teams.
· Maintain a clean, organized returns area and track return trends as needed.
· 2nd in line for NC investigations (when manager is absent)
Inventory Assistance Management:
· Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels throughout the warehouse.
· Perform regular cycle counts, bin audits, and full physical inventory checks.
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing pick history, receipts, and system data.
· Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
· Ensure all items are properly labeled, organized, and stored in their correct locations.
· Conduct root cause analysis on recurring inventory issues and recommend process improvements.
· Support receiving, picking, and shipping teams with inventory-related questions or issues.
· Maintain inventory accuracy standards and assist in supporting more efficient procedures.
· Provide feedback to improve inventory management and overall warehouse operations.
Competitive Pay: $20-22/hr
