Inbound Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Woburn, MA
Pay: $21–$23 per hour DOE
Schedule: 2nd shift, 2:00 p.m. to close
Overtime: Available

A day in this role

You clock in at 2:00 p.m., run a quick equipment and safety check, and head to the dock. First up: verify a morning delivery. You receive, inspect, and label each item, then stage and store it so it’s easy to find later. Throughout the shift, you keep inventory accurate—recording counts, noting discrepancies, and communicating issues right away. As orders come due, you prepare outbound shipments, generate bills of lading, and complete all required shipping documents. You’ll maneuver product using a ride-on electric pallet jack, reach truck, and standard forklift—always following safety protocols. By close, your area is organized, paperwork is squared away, and freight is ready to roll.

What you’ll handle

• Receive, inspect, label, and store inbound materials with high accuracy
• Stage and prepare outbound loads; produce bills of lading and shipping paperwork
• Maintain precise inventory records; promptly report any variances
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and ride-on pallet jacks for safe material movement
• Adhere to all warehouse and equipment safety procedures

What you bring

• Ride-on (electric) pallet jack experience — REQUIRED
• Forklift operating experience; reach truck familiarity a plus
• 2+ years in warehouse/receiving work
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 lbs solo (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
