Job Description
The Liberal Arts and Sciences Department is accepting applications for students to conduct research projects as part of the INBRE grant. Applicants are required to attach a resume, unofficial transcripts, and a brief paragraph on a separate sheet describing their reasons for wanting to participate in the INBRE program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Various duties as assigned as part of the INBRE undergraduate program
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Be enrolled in at least 6 semester credits at WNC
Have earned credit for at least one college transfer level Biology course (Can be from either WNC or other accredited institution)
Be approved for participation by faculty mentor
Additional Information
Compensation: $20 an hour
Schedule
Scheduled and available hours may vary and are subject to change based on organizational needs.
Full-Time Equivalency
50% - 20 Hours Per Week
Students may not work during scheduled course times
Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (Sun-Sat) during academic periods in which they are enrolled (Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters)
Students may not work more than 28 hours per week (Sun-Sat) during break periods, in which they are not taking courses (summer break, winter break, and spring break)
