Title: Inbuilding Construction Manager - Telecom
Location: Austin, TX 78703 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 to 18 months contract
Pay Rate: $50.00/hr on W2

Role Summary:

Accountable for the successful delivery of all Civil Works on assigned projects, including financial control through effective scheduling (time), Service Provider (SP/ASP) management, and quality assurance. Ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and all applicable federal and local regulations. Drives continuous improvement and collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Control and validate civil works costs against approved site design and scope.
  • Ensure only customer-approved materials are installed on-site.
  • Enforce adherence to civil works schedules, guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Attend and contribute to coordination and progress meetings.
  • Provide on-site supervision, especially in high-risk environments affecting customer operations.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure a compliant, safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot civil works issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate site activities across all involved disciplines to meet project goals.
  • Monitor progress and drive schedule adherence.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all vendors and service providers meet technical specifications and contractual standards.
  • Verify workmanship quality aligns with company and customer expectations.
  • Enforce safety and construction procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Site Oversight:

  • Perform site pre-inspections, verifications, and post-construction audits.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Reject non-compliant material deliveries.
  • Report poor performance and quality issues.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare regular progress reports and provide accurate project status updates.
  • Maintain and update construction-related documentation in Site Handler, including:
    • Statement of Work (SOW) and pre-construction documents
    • Notice to Proceed (NTP) verification
    • RFDS review and updates
    • Civil works acceptance and close-out documentation
    • Daily progress tracking and verification

Technical & Operational Support:

  • Provide technical guidance to service providers and suppliers.
  • Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of civil design plans.
  • Supervise and coordinate all civil works-related activities.

Leadership:

  • Lead teams with a focus on quality, efficiency, and results.
  • Support claims, material ordering, and returns.

Competency Level – CM2

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge and practical skills in civil works management.
  • Independently handles complex problems using adapted methods and procedures.
  • Actively contributes to process improvements and operational changes.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably managing large-scale project builds (200+ sites).
  • Strong understanding of construction safety, quality management, and project coordination.

Reporting Line

Reports to CM3 (Lead) or Implementation Manager (IM Lead)
