Greenfield School District is seeking a special educator to work with students in grades five to seven, with a team of professionals, and with students in special education classrooms.
DUTIES:
- Teaching students with a variety of disabilities in special education classrooms with partial inclusion or substantially separate placements
- Documenting student progress in the curriculum and students' special education programs
- Supervising paraprofessionals, and ensuring their follow-through with the program
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide a comprehensive and appropriate program with access to the general curriculum, inclusion, and inclusion support according to individual student needs
- Writing IEPs and progress reports, and manage all aspects of special education compliance for assigned student caseload
SALARY: Per the salary schedule of the Greenfield Education Association Master Contract starting at $54,141
