Inclusion Teachers are responsible for creating an inclusive learning environment where students with disabilities or special needs can participate fully in general education classrooms. Their duties include:
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborating with general education teachers to adapt curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional strategies to accommodate all students.
- Providing differentiated instruction and specialized support to students with varying learning styles and abilities, including small group or one-on-one instruction.
- Assessing student progress through formal and informal evaluations, tracking achievement toward academic and social goals, and adjusting teaching methods as needed.
