Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for an incoming inspector position at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The incoming inspector is responsible for ensuring products are inspected as per company policies and procedures.
The hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $25.50-$27.50 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Test (using special measurements) incoming goods
Communicate information on failed product inspections
Perform and record first article inspections per procedure
Document all test reports in software system
Work closely with engineering and production management to prioritize projects and optimize resources to accommodate peak production periods
Support all quality issues
Document and maintain records of the quarantined materials
Coordinate and maintain calibration records
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Technical degree preferred
5 or more years of experience in production inspection and/or quality control
Proficient in MS Office
ERP experience
Warehouse management system experience preferred
Experience with precision measuring instruments, including CMM
Strong written and verbal communication skills
