Techs will ensure access to the medical record. Maintains provider's incomplete files, ensuring that the provider completes all reports and signatures. Ensures timely completion of records for continuity of patient care and for meeting state and federal regulations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties specific to Incomplete Chart Technician functions:
- Scans and analyzes medical records to ensure completeness
- Ensures all paper records are accounted for and available in the EMR
- Ability to track provider deficiencies
- Communicates effectively with providers regarding deficiencies
- Fulfills release of record requests for patients and continuity of care
- Supplies excellent custom service both in person and via telephone

QUALIFICATIONS
Three years experience in medical record processing. Familiarity with computer programs - Windows, Word. Keyboarding skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Team player. Must be detail oriented.
