Job Overview
Sigma Inc is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Incubation Technician to support operations in Gainesville, GA. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality, handling, and processing of raw materials in a bio-secure, production-focused environment.

Work Schedule
- Sunday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Monday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Thursday: 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Maintain clean, organized, and bio-secure work areas
- Perform incubation processes including:
- Receiving, racking, setting, and candling eggs
- Assisting with egg delivery and processing
- Handle and move materials using pallet jacks and carts
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning
- Maintain accurate documentation and GMP records
- Support warehouse operations and sterilization processes
- Communicate issues promptly to supervisors
Physical Requirements
- Lift 50 lbs (200–300 boxes daily) to shoulder height
- Perform repetitive tasks such as:
- Bending, twisting, stooping
- Pushing/pulling heavy carts
- Work in low-light environments with strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to follow written SOPs consistently
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (preferred)
- Experience in:
- Warehouse operations
- Inventory control systems (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
Biosecurity & Safety Requirements
This role operates in a highly controlled bio-secure environment:
- No contact with birds or poultry allowed (including pets, farms, or wild birds)
- If exposure occurs, a 72-hour clearance period is required before returning onsite
- Must follow strict hygiene protocols (showering, clothing changes, etc.)
- Exposure to substances like formaldehyde requires strict adherence to safety procedures
