Hybrid position We are seeking an experienced Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Specialist to assist with the preparation, submission, and management of federal IDR cases under the No Surprises Act. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience navigating the federal IDR portal and understands the complete arbitration process—from eligibility review through payment collection. Responsibilities
Prepare and submit federal IDR disputes accurately and within required deadlines.
Gather and organize all required documentation and supporting evidence.
Track dispute deadlines, case status, determinations, and collections.
Communicate with providers, health plans, and certified IDR entities as needed.
Assist with process improvements and workflow optimization.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience submitting federal IDR cases.
Strong understanding of the No Surprises Act and federal IDR regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail excel knowledge
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience with orthopedic, pain management, anesthesia, emergency medicine, or surgical specialties.
Experience preparing arbitration position statements and evidence packages.
Familiarity with Excel and case-tracking tools.
