Job description
Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) are individuals who improve or maintain the participant to live independently as possible in their home and community. The ILST works with each client on recovering skills that have decreased because of onset disabilities of progressive illness to maintain essential skills within the clients home and community.

• ADLs and IADLs- Self-care training
• medication management task completion,
• communication and interpersonal skills,
• Home organization
• Mail Coordination
• Meal preparation
• providing transportation to medical appointments, social and community outings
