We are making a positive impact and we want you to be a part of it!This Indirect Buyer leads sourcing initiatives for non-production goods and services (e.g., Construction, Logistics, IT, Benefits, Plant Services, etc.) to optimize costs, manage vendor relationships, and mitigate risk. This position is responsible for sourcing activities, negotiating contracts, formulating policies, managing strategic relationships, and other activities related to full sourcing life cycle management.Responsibilities:Conduct sourcing activities to obtain quotes for goods and servicesDevelop, gain approval, & execute purchasing strategies for assigned commodities/suppliersOrganize and create presentations for management approval.Manage supply base using strategic life cycle management activitiesNegotiate pricingReview service contractsSupport internal teams for purchasing needsAbility to source all non-BOM-related services and commoditiesIdentify potential new vendors and support onboardingResponsible for building supplier relationships and monitoring industry trends/characteristicsUtilize market and historical data to benchmark pricing and leverage negotiationsCreate and issue purchasing orders (POs)Track ordersEnsure invoices are getting paidPerform other duties as assignedEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in General Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or relevant experience2 to 4+ years of experience in a related fieldKnowledge/Skills:Knowledge of ERP systemsExperience with contracts preferredExperience using Microsoft Office suiteStrong Negotiation skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsGood time management and prioritization skillsStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Additional Requirements:This role requires up to 0-5% of travel (domestic and/or international)Are you ready to join us in our journey toward a better world?
